JOB LOCATION:

New York, NY and unanticipated client sites throughout US

DESCRIPTION:

Design, implement, and operate highly scalable, modular data center (DC), voice, and service-provider infrastructure solutions, including content delivery network architectures, content aggregation back-haul systems, and data center security frameworks. Provide advanced technical support to enterprise customers by diagnosing and resolving complex network, voice, and security issues within their environments. Work extensively with Cisco enterprise-class switches and routers, applying industry security best practices, configuring firewalls and perimeter security measures, and implementing VPN technologies. Utilize deep knowledge of EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, spanning tree protocols, multicast routing, vPC, VDC, QoS, MPLS, and network security principles in daily operations and solution deployments.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field of study plus 2 years of experience as a Network Architect, Collaboration Engineer, Network Engineer, or a related occupation.

Must have CCIE certification.

HOURS:  9 AM to 5 PM, 40 hours/week
