Network Architect

Requirement:

Master’s or Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Computer Networking, Information Technology or Electronics Engineering along with minimum 7 years of work experience in networking field.

Job Description:

Within the office, takes responsibility for the Network, Server and Storage infrastructure additionally providing governance, policies, procedures, standards and oversight to the systems integration and partners. Design, deploy and manage Network & security Solutions for the Corporate Enterprise and Data Centers.

Responsible for ensuring all virtualization hosts within the data center(s) conform to the same standard configurations and driver / firmware levels that are in line with best practices.

Analyzing the existing customer IT and proposing Network, Security and Unified Communication solutions, using best practices and latest technologies.

Evaluate RFP document to create Technical Solution proposals which includes
Technical write-up: BoQ, SoW, Network Implementation Plan, High level design and Low level design.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, implement and operate content delivery networks
• Strong Interpersonal skills, Ability to work well with many levels of customer engineering and management, ability to work well with the juniper account team and Technical assistance center.
• Detailed technical experience in the installation and operation of IP Routers Switches and Firewalls. This includes hands-on operation of management tools and network analyzers.
• Detailed understanding of the protocols surrounding IP networks. These skills should generally include: a. TCP/IP fundamentals, b. IP subnetting and supernetting and hierarchical routing principles, c. Routing protocol operation (OSPF and BGP), d. Routing policies at BGP peering points, e. VPNs and the associated tunneling technologies (L2TP, MPLS, etc.) f. Switching, spanning tree, VXLAN-EVPN and other switching technology as required, Firewalls and associated technologies as required
• The ability to function in a team environment and recognize and take on tasks with self-direction as well as the ability to take direction from the customer, account team, and Advanced Services Management.
• Spearhead network engineering project planning, Design, implementation, and coordination in a professional, accurate and timely manner.
• Ensure high network availability & optimal network performance; Initiating network research, design & planning to enhance the network reliability and capability, planning large-scale network projects, and recommending network architectures that support the company’s strategic directions.
• Research and Implement Technology Solutions for the LAN/WAN, Core Network, Datacenters and Remote Sites.
• Design, implement and operate data center security
• Design and implement disaster recovery solutions for the data centers.
• Define network templates for automated deployment of servers across different scenarios (core infrastructure, high security data, dmz, standard security data, etc.)
• Configure virtual and physical firewalls and network appliances (load balancers, etc.)
• Commissioning and Integration of Network Elements with IP/MPLS Core network.
• Technical Advisory to Project Managers for new active-active data center implementation project (including data center facilities migration, new servers/storage/network infrastructure implementation and application physical to virtual migration).
• Design, implement and operate content delivery networks
• Design, implement and operate content aggregation back-haul infrastructure.
