Sr. Network Engineer

• Design, implement, operate: highly scalable modular data center (DC) & Service Provider infrastructure solutions
• Content delivery networks infrastructure; content aggregation back-haul infrastructure & DC security solutions.
• Design/implement disaster recovery solutions for Data Centers
  The Senior Network Engineer must possess strong skills in the network installation, integration, operation, and administration of various hardware devices including Cisco routers, switches, and network-interconnection devices.
  The Senior Network Engineer should have implementation and operational experience in secure WAN and campus LAN solutions. The candidate must possess solid communication, troubleshooting and interpersonal skills.

Required Experience
Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or a related field.
7+ years’ experience as a Network Engineer
5+ years’ experience working with Cisco enterprise class switches and routers including (Nexus and Catalyst).
3+ years’ experience with security best practices and implementing firewalls and perimeter security measures including VPN technologies.
Additional experience desired in two or more focus areas: WAN optimizers, load balancers, network management tools, Unified Communications, Security platforms, WLAN, and monitor/troubleshooting tools
Expert knowledge in EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, spanning tree, multicast routing, VPC, VDC, QOS, MPLS and security protocols.
Skills needed to work effectively in a team environment, promote customer service and handle complex technical issues.
Time management skills required, project management skills a plus.
Demonstrated oral and written communications skills.
Documentation (Microsoft Visio) and presentation skills.
Sound judgment, problem-solving, and decision making abilities.
Demonstrated ability to follow through on assigned tasks under tight deadlines.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communications skills (oral and written)
